I'm Sara — a Senior Product Manager and independent consultant based in Amsterdam. I founded StarryNorth Product Consulting to bring senior product leadership to technology organizations building things worth caring about.

With 10+ years in the industry, I've shipped products used by tens of millions of people across healthcare technology, SaaS, FinTech, cloud, and consumer platforms. At Google I led two teams of 18 engineers on a product serving tens of millions of merchants. At WeTravel I delivered 4 major launches in a year. At Doximity I helped build the #1 telehealth platform in the US.

My work spans the full product lifecycle — from messy, ambiguous discovery all the way to a shipped feature your users love. I'm as comfortable in a strategy session as I am in a sprint planning meeting or writing a PRD at midnight. I bring both the thinking and the doing.

Life outside the roadmap — I live in Amsterdam with my husband Ibryam and our cat Leila. I made the move from San Francisco in late 2024, though I'm a northern California native at heart. I've traveled to 82 countries and explored 6 continents solo — an obsession that's shaped how I communicate, collaborate, and empathize with users across cultures. Close to home you'll find me at a museum (proud Museumkaart holder), playing chess, discovering a new café, cooking, reading, or exploring nature.

Led high-impact initiatives on Venmo Business Profile, enabling small businesses to grow their presence. Spearheaded in-app messaging PRD and legal/engineering alignment, improved onboarding funnel conversion, and shipped analytics and profile customization features to drive business account retention.

Led 2 cross-functional teams of 18 engineers on Google Business Messaging, serving tens of millions of merchants worldwide. Set roadmap, product vision, and strategy. Partnered with Shopify, Zendesk, Walmart, and LivePerson on critical large-scale integrations.

Associate PM — Dialer
APM on the #1 telehealth platform in the US. Launched multiple high-impact features across iOS, Android, and desktop. Championed health-equity features including expanded language support. Wrote SQL on Snowflake, built dashboards, and helped launch Doximity's first consumer subscription product.

Technical Associate PM
Rotational APM program across Workday Cloud Platform and People Experience. Delivered a critical error logging feature end-to-end and led data literacy initiatives across the engineering organization.
